Who we are
We build financial clarity and practical momentum.
Our purpose is to give small and mid-sized businesses the systems, structure, and honest insight they need to run better today and scale with confidence tomorrow.
We thrive on untangling complex financial challenges from ERP and reporting to cash flow, controls, and lender relationships and turning them into simple, reliable tools leaders can actually use.
Our role is to bring experienced financial leadership to the table: challenging assumptions, doing the right thing, and helping owners and management teams make better, faster decisions with numbers they trust.
Sometimes that means acting as your Controller. Other times it means stepping in as your CFO. Either way, the goal is the same: clarity, control, and confidence.

Founder & Fractional Finance Executive
Tim Klemz is a finance and operations leader with 18+ years spanning public accounting, internal audit, and executive management. He began in public accounting with Eide Bailly, developed regulatory and SOX discipline leading internal audit work at Otter Tail Corporation, and then moved into executive roles as CFO and VP of Finance for multi‑entity organizations. That path gives him a rare dual lens: institutional controls and reporting standards paired with practical, on‑the‑ground execution.
His operating experience ranges from high‑growth SMBs to complex portfolios of 50+ entities and $100M+ in active work, including development, commercial construction, property management, and single‑family/multifamily investment platforms. He has also led adjacent functions in IT and HR, which informs how finance, systems, and people must work together.
Tim focuses on innovation that produces measurable results. He sets the operating rhythm through annual and quarterly planning, a KPI dictionary, and a simple weekly scorecard. He instills discipline and builds the decision infrastructure with the right ERP, a crisp monthly operating review, and modernized IT and HR. On the capital side, Tim translates field operations into lender‑ready narratives, covenant models, and banker packages. He is equally comfortable with community banks and institutional lenders, with a track record that includes multiple agency refinancing (Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac) and ongoing covenant reporting without surprises.
Known for a decisive, professionally direct style (Gallup Strength: Command), Tim challenges old thinking, simplifies complexity, and helps teams execute.
